Business T-Shirt Design: Make Your Logo Easy to Read
Compartir
A business T-shirt has a small job with a big impact: help people recognize who you are. Whether you are planning shirts for a market booth, a shop team, or a community event, a clear design starts with deciding what someone should notice first.
Choose one main message
Start with your business name or logo. If a slogan, website, phone number, and social handle all compete for attention, the shirt can become difficult to scan. Pick one supporting detail only when it helps the person wearing the shirt do their job.
For example, a market vendor might lead with the business name and add a short description such as “Handmade candles.” A staff shirt might simply pair the logo with “TEAM.” These are design examples, not ready-made Radiary products.
Check contrast before adding more detail
Look at the artwork against the shirt color you have in mind. Light lettering on a light background can disappear; a dark logo on a dark shirt can lose its outline. Start with a combination that keeps the name readable, then consider decorative elements.
View the design at a smaller size on your screen. If the business name becomes hard to identify, simplify thin lines, tiny lettering, or crowded spacing before making the entire graphic larger.
Give the logo room to breathe
Leave open space around the main artwork. Avoid pushing letters against the edges of the design area or stretching a logo to fill it. Keep its original proportions so circles stay round and lettering stays familiar.
A compact chest design and a larger central design create different effects. Compare both as mockups and choose the one that suits how the shirt will be used. A preview is a placement guide; it is not a guarantee of the final printed color or scale.
Review the artwork, not just the shirt
- Check the spelling of your business name and any contact information.
- Use a clear original image rather than a screenshot of a logo whenever possible.
- Remove an unwanted background before uploading; a transparent PNG can help show the artwork on the shirt.
- Make sure you have permission to use any logo or graphic included in your design.
Try a preview with Radiary
The Radiary Design Studio lets you upload artwork, add text, adjust placement, and download a mockup. The page currently offers design previews and indicates that online ordering will open when shirt options are available.
Use the preview to compare a simple version with a more detailed one. Then contact Radiary with your idea and questions before making order plans. A readable business shirt begins with a design people can understand at a glance.
